The first pulse of the Vago — the signal beneath the skin.
The first code the simulation reads is the Skin.
Not appearance — resonance.

Every Vago wears a body,
and every body carries a signal.
This is the Base Grade —
the voltage encoded into the skin before the traits kick in,
before the awareness awakens,
before the story begins.
A Skin is not status.
A Skin is not beauty.
A Skin is not rank.
It's the foundational frequency the Vago broadcasts the moment it enters the grid —
the raw, unfiltered charge that sets its starting point in the Signal System.
WHAT THE BASE GRADE DOES
The Base Grade determines three things:
• The Vago’s starting voltage
Its initial signal strength inside the Vagosystem.
• The energetic role of its body-form
What kind of resonance the Skin was built to hold.
• The foundation for its final Signal Score
Traits and awareness add layers later.
The Skin is the root frequency.
Everything builds on it.
THE SEVEN SKINS
Every Vago belongs to one of seven Skin types.
Each carries both mechanical value (points)
and mythic meaning (its inner resonance).
Below is the complete breakdown.
MIDAS — ULTRA (3 tokens | 0.30% | 2.00 pts)
Essence: Pure light channel.
Gold-coded. Rare beyond rare.
Carries surgical precision and sovereign clarity.
These bodies were built to hold high voltage without distortion.
Field Behavior:
Midas generates a “sun-core” effect:
a stabilizing, radiant field that strengthens aligned patterns
and weakens anything incoherent around it.
BULLION — ULTRA (9 tokens | 0.90% | 1.20 pts)
Essence: Dense light. Stabilizing force.
Field-grounding frequency with heavy presence.
Bullion bodies feel like vaults — quiet, unshakeable, valuable by nature.
Field Behavior:
A Bullion generates a dense, grounding current —
it quiets static, reduces emotional turbulence,
and reinforces structural clarity in the field.
FROST — RARE (30 tokens | 3.00% | 0.90 pts)
Essence: Electric stillness.
Icy clarity. Surgical, precise, minimal noise.
Field Behavior:
Frost Skins purify signal.
They cool emotional static, sharpen perception,
and allow truth to stand without interference.
ASHE — RARE (60 tokens | 6.01% | 0.80 pts)
Essence: What has burned remembers.
These bodies have passed through collapse and emerged distilled.
Field Behavior:
Ashe is the residue of transformation —
what survives the burning.

CRYPT — RARE (150 tokens | 15.02% | 0.70 pts)
Essence: Depth hidden under shadow.
Subterranean signal. Old code humming in the dark.
Field Behavior:
Crypt is the keeper of unlit truths.
Where light cannot reach, memory remains —
and Crypt Skins carry that memory quietly,
waiting for the moment it becomes needed.
WOODSTOCK — COMMON (237 tokens | 23.72% | 0.65 pts)
Essence: Vibe-first frequency.
Alive with color, culture, rhythm. Joy-coded.
Field Behavior:
Woodstock Skins are the pulse of the street —
the frequency of movement, color, and culture made visible.
They carry aliveness into the grid,
turning noise into rhythm and momentum into flow.
SCUM — COMMON (510 tokens | 51.05% | 0.60 pts)
Essence: Raw. Unfiltered. Underground truth.
These bodies come from the bottom layer — the most common skin,
yet the one that can surprise the simulation the most.
Field Behavior:
Scum is the raw material of transformation —
unrefined, unapologetic, unpolished.
If remembrance blooms here,
it becomes a myth of metamorphosis:
awakening carved from the roughest stone.
BASE GRADE & AWARENESS
The Skin determines the Vago’s voltage,
not its consciousness.
A Scum can be Transcendent.
A Midas can be a Proxy.
This is intentional.
It dissolves the 3D illusion that “looks equal worth.”
In the Vagosystem, the body is just the container.
The awareness is the pilot.

Everything else — Awareness, Tattoos, Branding, and other traits —
layers on after the Skin.
